Come join us as we grow in community to better follow Jesus and expand His kingdom. Crush Fear is a 17 day outdoor adventure summer project for college students with the mission of preparing others to reach and influence the world for Christ.
|
This project will provide you with an outdoor, adventure-oriented community where you will face your fears and insecurities and learn to live in freedom and courage. You will grow in many aspects of leadership, learn skills to help fulfill the great commission, and experience a lot of outdoor adventures.
Christians hesitate to break through their comfort zones and to take risks for God, but when you look at the lives of Esther, David, Paul, and other Biblical heroes, personal comfort is not the biblical model. As Christians, we must get past the doubt and shame that create fear and hold back progress in our lives. Broken families, legalism, the breakdown of morality, and peer pressure have caused many Christian students to live in disobedience to Jesus Christ. They get caught up in the world instead of enjoying the great adventure that He has called us to when He said, "I have come that you may have life abundantly" (John 10:10). And they turn away from obeying the command to "go into all the world and make disciples" from Matt 28:19.
When you come to the Crush Fear summer project, Master Plan staff will help you learn more about God and grow deeper in your relationship with Him as you are guided through a number of fears alongside other students from across the country.
Master Plan Ministries is a non-denominational movement dedicated to evangelism, discipleship and leadership development. Based on Biblical principles, it provides the necessary tools and resources to meet many of the spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical needs of the individual. The results are an increasing flow of committed, trained, and fruitful Christians that will impact the world by ministering to the needs of the whole person in the name of Jesus Christ.
